When another car occupies the racing line, avoid making an unnecessarily sharp steering input just to pass immediately. Waiting for a cleaner opening can preserve more speed than forcing an overtake that sends you into the wall.
Elimination makes staying near the front more important because the driver at the back is removed as the competition progresses. Current versions include elimination formats based on race progression or timed intervals.
The biggest mistake is allowing yourself to remain at the rear while waiting for a perfect passing opportunity. If elimination is approaching, moving out of last place becomes the immediate priority.
You still need controlled driving. A desperate late-braking move can cause a collision and leave you even farther behind, so try to gain positions before the elimination point becomes urgent.
Time Attack removes the need to fight through traffic and places the emphasis on your own lap. It is useful for learning where to brake, which corners can be taken at higher speed, and how different cars behave on the same circuit.
Do not judge a run only by maximum speed. A slightly slower entry can produce a much cleaner corner exit, and that advantage continues onto the following straight.
Repeated Time Attack runs are also a practical way to compare vehicles. Drive the same circuit several times with one car before switching so you can tell whether the difference comes from the vehicle or simply from learning the track.

If you are near the back, gaining one place can matter more than setting up an ideal racing line. Give yourself enough time to move away from the elimination position before the next cutoff.
Because all 12 vehicles are available immediately, it is tempting to change after every race. Using one car for several laps makes its braking distance and steering response easier to predict.
