Blumgi Castle is a physics-based shooting game where you launch explosives at monsters standing on destructible platforms. Instead of needing a direct hit every time, you can blast away the ground beneath an enemy and send it falling into the water. Every attack depends on two decisions: where the projectile is pointed and how much intensity you give the shot. Adjusting only one of these is often not enough.

Environmental destruction is one of Blumgi Castle's defining mechanics. Explosives can damage the ground and structures around the monsters, allowing you to remove their support rather than striking their bodies directly.
This is particularly useful when a monster is partially protected by walls or positioned where a direct trajectory is awkward. Look at what is holding the enemy above the water. A well-placed explosion underneath that position can be more effective than repeatedly aiming at the monster itself.
Terrain damage can also change the rest of the level. After part of a platform has been destroyed, the angles and landing areas available for future shots may be different, so reassess the scene after every explosion.
